Liquid eyeliner: NYCGel eyeliner: Maybelline

Hello loves,

Happy Monday to you all. Today I will talk to you about my two favorite drugstore eyeliners. I love wearing eyeliner, I feel that it makes my eyes look bigger and my eye makeup well put together. It takes my makeup to the next level, I do not use it on a daily basis but I do when I want my eye makeup to look more sophisticated.

When I first attempted to apply eyeliner it was very hard, they were not even and definitely no wing to it. For those who are trying to learn how to apply eyeliner I would recommend using a gel liner with a brush. This is easier to apply because the eyeliner brushes are thicker and easier to manage than a wand. The gel product is also easier to apply in a straight line when you are a beginner. The Maybelline eyeliner costs $7.99.

For those who are a little more experienced with applying eyeliner the NYC liquid eyeliner is a better option. The wand is smaller and thinner than the gel brush wish will help you apply a very thin line if that is your preference. The color of the liquid liner is also jet black which is a lot darker than the gel liner. It also stays on all day until you remove it. This is by far my favorite liquid eyeliner from the drugstore, the price of $2.91 makes it that much better.

Do not be discouraged if you do not get the results you want on the first couple of tries. This takes practice and you will eventually become a pro! My technique is to begin close to my tear duct and make my way to the end of my eye. I then draw out my wing out and bring it in to connect with the rest of my line.
